Right now, we are independently fostering a sweet dog named Pepper. When his family needed help, we stepped in to provide a safe, calm place where he could be cared for and loved while his mom focuses on getting healthy again. Our goal isn’t just temporary shelter—it’s keeping families together whenever possible.
Pepper isn’t available for adoption at this time, as the hope is that he’ll be reunited with his mother once she’s well enough to care for him again. In the meantime, he’s being supported with patience, routine, and plenty of affection—exactly what we believe every dog deserves during times of uncertainty.
Pepper has a big personality wrapped in a gentle, slightly shy heart. Watching him relax, trust, and truly feel at home has been incredibly rewarding. Stories like Pepper’s are why we do what we do—stepping up when our community needs support, and offering dogs not just care, but compassion.

Collaborations with local rescues and shelters, including adoption events as we build the right space and support.
Reserving space for a rescue pup at no cost when we have the capacity, to help dogs waiting for second chances.
A future “Paws of Honor” recognition for service and police dogs, with complimentary or reduced stays as resources allow.
As we grow, we plan to offer discounts for community heroes like veterans, military families, teachers, nurses, EMTs, and firefighters.
Long-term plans include support options like temporary care during hospital stays and other hardship situations, when we have the capacity and partnerships in place.
Future workshops and community learning opportunities (training foundations, enrichment, wellness) as we build our network.
Ideas we’re excited to grow into: birthday pawties, seasonal events, and family-friendly days when the time is right.
