We know choosing care for your dog is a big decision. Below are answers to some of the most common questions we receive. Our care is intentionally small, request-based, and centered around calm routines, honest communication, and individualized attention.
Limited overnight boarding, day boarding, enrichment, training support, transportation, and select pet care support services may be available by request and approval.
Availability depends on schedule, capacity, the dog’s needs, and whether the request is a safe fit for our current setup.
We accept a maximum of two guest dogs at a time. This includes day boarding and overnight boarding. Keeping capacity this small helps protect a calm environment and allows care to stay personal.
Most dogs can be considered as long as their needs can be met safely and responsibly. We review every request individually based on temperament, routine, health, behavior history, and current availability.
If you have concerns, reach out. We can talk through your dog’s needs and decide whether a meet and greet, trial stay, or different service makes sense.
No. We do not offer open group play between unfamiliar dogs. Dogs are housed, exercised, and enriched individually or with approved household dogs only.
Sometimes. Dogs from the same household may be approved together if the owner confirms they safely cohabitate and if their behavior remains appropriate during the stay.
Possibly. Many dogs who struggle in busy environments do better with calm structure. However, safety still comes first. We may suggest a meet and greet, shorter trial stay, or adjustments before approving a longer booking.
If a dog shows signs of stress, we adjust the routine, reduce stimulation, and communicate with the owner. If the dog cannot settle safely or their welfare is at risk, early pickup may be required.
Tours may be available by appointment depending on current operations and scheduling. Tours must be scheduled in advance so we can protect the calm environment for dogs already in care.
Please bring your dog’s food, feeding instructions, medications if needed, and comfort items such as bedding, blankets, or toys. All items should be labeled when possible.
Due to Florida insects, ticks, and wildlife exposure risks, dogs should be maintained on veterinarian-approved flea, tick, and parasite prevention whenever possible. Dogs showing evidence of active fleas, ticks, or parasites may be refused or require pickup.
Rabies is required where applicable. Additional vaccines may be required or strongly recommended based on the service, your dog’s risk factors, and current conditions.
As early as possible. Because we only accept two guest dogs at a time, availability can disappear quickly around holidays, weekends, and travel dates.
Please reach out as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate changes when scheduling allows, but deposits and cancellation rules may apply once a booking is approved.
Yes, when they can be safely cared for in our environment. Puppies, seniors, and high-risk dogs may require additional discussion, special instructions, or modified routines.
We are intentionally small, request-based, and focused on individualized care. Instead of high-volume group environments, we prioritize calm routines, thoughtful scheduling, and low-stress handling.
We will make every effort to contact you and your emergency contact immediately. If urgent care is needed and we cannot reach you, veterinary care may be sought in your dog’s best interest. Veterinary costs remain the owner’s responsibility.
Sometimes. Availability is limited, but you are welcome to reach out. Requests are reviewed case by case based on capacity, scheduling, and your dog’s needs.
Still have questions? We are always happy to talk through your dog’s needs.
